Howard W. Grant
Howard W. Grant has thirty years' experience in performing arts management, serving in the top management position at the Long Island Philharmonic, Honolulu Symphony, and Boston Philharmonic. At each orchestra he was hired to, and succeeded in, turning around a financial crisis and substantially upgrading the management capabilities of those orchestras.

In each of these employment positions, Howard was successful in all aspects of orchestra management including: artistic administration and operations, board development and management, contract negotiations (AFM and IATSE), education activities, finance, development and marketing, government affairs, and strategic planning.
The organizations that he has been fortunate to work for have varied greatly in size, scope, geographic location and culture giving him a broad perspective of the challenges facing the management of performing arts organizations as a whole.
